He was predeceased by: his parents, Hendrik Hamstra (Henry) and Petronella Hamstra; and his wife Eileen Noordman. He is survived by: his siblings, Louise DeBoom and Jaap Hamstra (Jacob); his children, Renee, Carrie and Leslie (Britt); his grandchildren, JoLynn, Erin (Adam), Traci and Reagan; and his great grandchildren, Jakub, Arie and Anneliese. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and cousins.
