It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terry Shane Lorts (Chandler, Arizona), who passed away on June 2, 2018, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Gloria Lorts and Roger Lorts; his siblings, Dawn Underhill, Nancy Instone and Roger Lorts; and his daughter Cori Lorts.

In lieu of flowers, his family wishes that donations be made to Camp AZDA – a camp for children with diabetes.

“I recently learned of Terry's death from a friend. I took a trip across the country to California with Terry when I was 19 years old. Meeting his brother in the Air Force in Albuquerque, crossing into Mexico at Tijuana, hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, sticking our feet in the Colorado river, then hiking back to the ridge (one of the hardest things I've ever done). Quite an adventure. I think we both grew up a little bit on that trip. My condolences to family and friends. Bill Theisen”
