He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Elkins; his son Anthony "Tony" Elkins (Autumn) of Osceola, IN; his grandchildren, Malachi, Eli, Zeke and Brayden; and his siblings, Paula Sjogren (Raleigh) and Brett Elkins (Elizabeth) of Greenville, TN..
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, Inc. (403 W Franklin St, Elkhart, IN 46516). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rice Cemetery (400 James St, Elkhart, IN 46516).
