She was predeceased by : her husband Florencio "Chito" Tellez; her grandson Michael Tellez; her great grandchild Kaya Tellez; her daughter-in-law Priscilla Tellez; and her siblings, Carmen Segovia, Josephine Aguilar and David Gomez.

She is survived by : her children, Carmel Tellez (Melisa), Dolores Nabor (William), Rebecca Hewes (Richard), Diana Roybal (Pat), Martha Ontiveros (Carlos) and Tony Tellez (Lydia); and her brothers, Jimmy Gomez and Johnny Gomez. She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews.
