She was predeceased by : her parents, Guadalupe Mendoza and Hilario Lopez; her son Matthew James; and her brothers, Reynaldo and Raul Lopez.
She is survived by : her sisters, Amelia and Celia. She is also survived by 7 children, 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
Her door was always open for any of her grandchildren that needed a place to stay, some after an earthquake ruined their home, and another to just get out of the city to attend a smaller school; then another that rode out covid in the shelter of her loving home.
