He was predeceased by : his father Daniel Garza; his son JayAnthony Garza; and his grandparents, Adalberto T., Maria V. Duarte and Sulema Torres.

He is survived by : his children, Arianna Garza of Daniel Garza, III, Matthew Garza and Asenyia Garza; his mother Yolanda Rodriguez; his stepfather Armando Rodriguez; and his siblings, Freddie Garza, Michelle Garza, Mel DeLeon, Ben DeLeon, Rianna Rodriguez, Eddie Rodriguez, Danny Rodriguez and Jessica Lopez.
