Michael V. Gomez Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael V. Gomez (Douglas, Arizona), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Michael has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Store (Alicia Gomez) and Gomez Grocery Store. He is survived by: his wife Windy Gomez; his daughters, Kathleen Gomez and Kristine Gomez (Kevin Smith); and his grandchildren, Diego M. Vlašić (Monica Archer Vlašić), Matteo Vlašić and Isabella Smith.
A rosary will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Brown Page Mortuary (910 F Ave, Douglas, AZ 85607-2001). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (928 C Ave, Douglas, AZ 85607). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Balar Event Center (1703 E 9th St, Douglas, AZ 85607).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Douglas Rotary Club to support three of his favorite community programs: · The Fly-In at the Douglas Municipal Airport, which he was able to attend just a few weeks ago as we flew 95 children in the air.
