It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Socorro Friend Leon (Douglas, Arizona), who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Santos M. Leon; her sons, Daniel Leon Sr. and Ricardo Leon; her grandsons, Leonardo Leon and Daniel Leon, Jr.; her parents, Santos Friend and Fred; and her brother Fred Friend.

She is survived by : her children, David Leon and Diana Leon Serafin (David); her grandchildren, Francisco Leon, Ariana Leon Sarafin, Leonardo Leon Serafin, Angel Acosta, David Serafin, Jr. (Taylor), Naydine Serafin, Yvette Galaviz (Christian) and Daniel Serafin (Elena); and her siblings, Abraham Friend (Aucensia), Reynaldo Friend, Rene Friend (Margaret), Rudy Friend (Francis), Reyes "Chapo" Friend (Maria) and Katalina Sanchez (Felipe). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

A rosary will be held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the St. Luke's Catholic Church (1211 E 15th St, Douglas, AZ 85607). A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
