He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Shupe and Genieve Marie Huish Shupe; and his siblings, Walter Shupe, Bill Shupe, Roland Shupe and Marie Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Shupe; and his children, John Shupe (Elizabeth), Mary Garcia (Freddie) and Kay Herrera (Manuel). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
