She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sephus T. Brown and Lillie Roberts; her husband Lewis Walker (Gene); her children, Toby Joy, John Joy, III, Jimmy Jay, Lavonna Hall, Phoenix and Terry Stanley; and her stepchildren, Shannon Winegar, Darla Hickerson, Richard Walker and Gordon Walker. She was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 9 great, great grandchildren.
