She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Melvin H. Beckstrand and Virginia Hinckley Beckstrand; her siblings, Helen, Harlo, Paul and Judy; her spouse Merle M. Allen, Jr.; and her children, Leslie Patterson (Don), Shauna Mortensen (Fred), Denise Clifford (Curtis), Colette Hatfield (Kent), Mark Allen (Audralyn) and Brian Allen (Jeannine). She was also cherished by her 32 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
