He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Dan DeSantis (Tacy), Marion Eckersley (Scott) and Mark Rasmussen (Aleta); his grandchildren, Calli Albano (Chris), Briana Thomas (Gunner), Jordan DeSantis (Bristol) and Abigail DeSantis; his great grandchildren, Avery, Brayvn, Josie, Bailey and Leo; his sister Judy; his nephews, Ben and Mike; and his niece Lisa.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Legion Merrell Mitchell Post 39 – Christmas for Kids Program.
