She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henrik Mezei and Bertha Neuman Mezei; her sister Klara; her former husband Dr. Michael Reizes; her husband Normal Lapedus; her sons, Henry (Mauri) and Charlie Reizes of Mesa; her granddaughter Ariana Ziskin-Bailey (Steven); her great grandchildren, Caspian and Lennox Ziskin-Bailey; her niece Irma Rose; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Rachel, Katie and Ryan; and her cousin Peter Mezei.
Magda and her brother George donated documents to the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC, and were honored guests at the museum's opening in the spring of 1993.
