He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred LaPlante and Gladys LaPlante (Berube); his brothers, Gaylord, Donald and Richard; and his son Curt LaPlante.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Voncile LaPlante (Hamilton); and his children, Kenneth Laplante (Brenda LaPlante), Keith LaPlante (Brenda Lee LaPlante) and JoAnn Page (Brian Page). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 Great Grand Children and countless Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of Flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
