Beverly Baker Obituary
Beverly Mae (Brunt) Baker, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, at the age of 79. She was born to Nellie May (McClintock) Brunt and Lloyd George Brunt of Dowling, Michigan.
Beverly moved through life with unmistakable style. She loved presenting herself beautifully to the world, often adorned in her signature reds and leopard prints. She delighted in telling the story of how she introduced the mini skirt to the world, a tale she shared with a sparkle in her eye.
She adored roses—especially the Beverly rose—and found deep companionship in her beloved cats over the years, most notably her cherished Mozart.
In 2007, Beverly was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Through her faith community, she formed meaningful friendships with people who supported, served, and loved her for many years. Those who served alongside her often said their lives were changed because of her presence.
Her friends and loved ones will remember Beverly as resilient, knowledgeable, funny, glamorous, stubborn, compassionate in her own unique way, and truly unforgettable.
Beverly is survived by her children Julie M. Dochtermann, April S. Edmonds, and William H. Edmonds, as well as five grandchildren, and her brother David L. Brunt.
