She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Patikan and Aurelia Patikan. She is survived by: her husband Ernesto Aviles; her children, Rosanne Aviles of Ernie Aviles, JR, Corinna Aviles and Elisa Aviles; her grandchildren, Deandra Aviles and Lorenzo Celis; and her sister Dora Ortega.
Mom courageously battled Alzheimer's for 14 years, and although it took a heavy toll on her, she never lost her sense of joy and gratitude.
