He was predeceased by: his parents, A. K. Jr. Beard and Dorothy Beard; his son Jeremy Beard; his sister Carrolle Wildman; and his sister-in-law Brenda Beard.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Beard (Ginger); his daughter Faith Beard; his brothers, A. K. III (Pam Beard) and Russell Beard (Rusty); and his nieces, Korinne Ruskin and Melanie Graham.
