He was predeceased by: his parents, Estefana Martinez and José Díaz Martínez; and his brother Alfonso Martínez (Fonz). He is survived by: his children, Dominique Delprete (Michael Delprete), Joseph Martinez and Nichole Taylor (Anour Taylor); his grandchildren, Diego Delprete, Lena Taylor and Milo Taylor; and his siblings, Liz Graham (Rosa), Linda Cardona (Letty), Armando Martínez (Mando) and Martha Campos (Patti).
