He is survived by: his parents, Gustavo Rivas and Olga Vargas; his wife Jeannette; his children, Naomi, Mateo and Olivia; and his grandparents, Socorro "Papi Corro" Vargas and Fidelina "Nana Fide" Vargas. He is also survived by his brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
