She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent T. Ashmore; her parents, Richard Bartels and Hilda Bartels (Kuopus); and her sisters, Deanna Stritof (Martin) and Susan Nash (Allen).
She is survived by: her children, Kristine Hitaffer (Thomas), Thomas Ashmore (Jennifer) and Karen Dooley (David); her grandchildren, Scott (Anushka), Shannon (Andy), Andrew (Ashley), Kathryn, Olivia (Troy), Bradley, Emma and Brody; and her great grandchild Laura (Walter Houle).
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for memorial donations to The Alzheimer's Association, Life in Christ Lutheran Church and Uplift Hospice in Scottsdale.
