He was predeceased by: his daughters, Julie Coolman (Don) and Renea Hill (Scott); his parents, William Smith and Helen Smith; and his siblings, Betty Rosa (Tony), Dorothy Bringer (Raymond), Robert Smith (Nancy), Carlene Johnson (George), Patricia Jackson (Jerry), Billy Smith (Debby) and Thomas Smith (Judy).
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Scott Smith (Rossella), Sue Botsch (Gary), Duane Smith (Jill), Sheree Smith, Melanie Rosenblatt (Sam), Kelli Moomey (Mike) and Jeffery Smith (Elaine); and his sister Janet Bringer. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resthaven Park Cemetery (6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301).
