We are sad to announce that, on March 24, 2026, at the age of 88, Lydia Cummings of Glendale, Arizona passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Lydia had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Lydia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert L. Cummings; her daughters, Anissa M. Cummings of Myton, Utah, Angela M. Knight (Joseph) of Whiterocks and Aneedra M. Detwiler (Arie) of Rolan, Montana.; her sister Heidi; her parents, Fritz Kissel and Ria Werthmann; and her sister Paula. She was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, if you are able to contribute a monetary donation to your local animal shelter in Lydia's name, she will be honored.
