He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; and his sister Sylvia Lester. He is survived by: his children, Jason Burruel (Darla) and Patricia Ortega (Ralph); his sisters, Rosie Serna, Lydia Plummer and Rita Lechuga; and his grandchildren, Eden Burruel, Taryn Burruel, Brogan Burruel and Alex Ortega.
