He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernesto Romero and Armida Miranda Romero; his children, Danny Jr., Rachel, Elaine and Lisa Romero; his grandson John "Bean" Carrasco; and his siblings, Sal Ruiz, Gusti Romero, Sophie Carrizosa, Lucy Ruiz, Art Romero, Arturo "Pungas" Romero, Ernesto Romero, Raul Romero and Beatrice "Tuca" Arvizu.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Alvarez Romero; his daughters, Rosanna Romero, Stephanie Avalos and Jennifer Romero; and his sisters, Mary Lou Mendoza, Roxanna Cota and Minnie Denogean. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
