She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Duarte and Marcella Duarte; her siblings, Franklin, Gilbert Duarte and Irma Dolores Duarte; and her nephews, Gilbert, Ricky, David and Gregory.
She is survived by: her husband Edward "Lalo" Ruiz; her brother Chito Duarte; and her stepchildren, Eddie Ruiz and Felicia Dominguez (Rene). She is also survived by 2 Step granddaughters, 3 Step grandsons, 16 nieces and nephews and many great 40 great nieces and nephews and 53 great, great niece and nephews, and 1 great, great, great nephew.
