He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George O. Hughes and Arlene Hughes; his wife Ruth Elaine Hughes; his children, Doreeen Salmonsen, Diana Braun, George Mitchel Hughes, Mark Hughes and David Hughes; and his sister Jeanne Fallon. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
