He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tomas and Francesca Barraza; his wife Jennie Esqueda Barraza; his children, John (Monica Schroeder), Ruben (Katya Barraza), Robert (Roberta Barraza) and Jennifer Barraza of Mesa, Arizona; his siblings, Thomas Barraza, Jr., Frank Barraza and Margaret Encinas; his grandchildren, Adriana Barraza Ruben, III, Inna Emerich, Ava Barraza, Robert Barraza, Jr. and Nicole Barraza; and his sisters, Virginia Berumen, Alice Higuera and Dora Arvayo.
