He was predeceased by : his parents, Millard Schebler and Stella Schebler (Nobbe); his daughter Tina Wethington; his grandson Baby Ray Ryan; and his brothers, Carl, Wilbur and Edgar Schebler.

He is survived by : his wife Ada Davis of Green Valley, Arizona; his daughters, Tricia Perdue (Dan) of Batesville, Tonia Poe (Chris) of Batesville and Tara Meyers (Jessie Brown) of New Castle, Indiana; his son-in-law Joe Wethington of Ross, Ohio; the mother of his children Connie Schebler (Peters); his grandchildren, Jessica, Josie Wethington, Toni Becker (Ben), Cody Perdue, Kory Ryan, Evan Meyers, Nolan and Shaylin Brown; his great grandchildren, Daxton and Tinley Becker; his stepchildren, William Thorp of Indianapolis, Vicki Meadows (Chuck Billingsly) of Greensburg and Allen Meadows (Jackie) of Greensburg; his stepgrandchildren, Joe Johnson, Kaitlynn Grank, Evan Brasier, Lilyann Brasier, Sofie Meadows, Lyric, Emma, Will and Mabel Thorp; and his siblings, Carolyn "Sis" Heppner of Murrieta, California, Kevin Schebler of Osgood and Randy Schebler of Batesville.
