She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Tapia and Encarnación Herrera Tapia; and her siblings, Benjamin, Manuel, Efraín and Francisca (late John D. Logan).
She is survived by: her sister Estela (Varney); her children, Jose of Lucas and Lori (Martin Tapia) of Lucas Tapia; and her grandchildren, Joey Tapia, Alex Tapia, Kassandra Tapia and Christopher Patiño. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
