He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Chernoski and Evelyn Grigalonis Chernoski of Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.; and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Mary Agnes Ori Chernoski; his son Stephen; his daughter-in-law Jennifer; and his grandchildren, Brayden and Emma of Lambertville.

A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Valley Parish (505 N La Cañada Dr, Green Valley, AZ 85614). A reception was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the The-Valley Church (505 N La Cañada Dr, Green Valley, AZ 85614).
