He was predeceased by : his parents, Angela Lopez and Vicente Alicea; his aunt Mercedes Sellas; his sons, Samuel "Chino" Alicea and Enrique "Ricky" Alicea; his siblings, David Alicea and Nilda Alicea-Hernandez; his nephew Carlos Santiago; and his great-nephew Azrael Mateo DeJesus.

He is survived by : his wife Peggy Williams; his daughter Angelina Alicea; his stepdaughter Jessica Rust; and his siblings, Maria, Alicia, Miriam Alicea, Vince and Elvis Alicea. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 12+ great grandchildren, 12 nieces & nephews who he loved like his own, cousins and great nieces & nephews.
