She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Evenson and Leah Evenson. She is survived by: her husband Grover Smith; her sister Susan; her brother-in-law Paul Hunter; her children, Debbie Hankins, Brenda Cassidy, Stephanie (Bill Brazell), Jeanette (Ned Imboden) and Christopher (Tiffany Smith); Vicki Wright. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren who lovingly knew her as "Grandma", as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Joan & Dianna Hospice Home.
