He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Brown and Beatrice Brown; and his son H. R. II. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Alison Geyer (Carlos Martinez) of Idaho and Christopher Carlisle of New York State; his grandson Franklin Richardson, Jr.; his cousin Jackie Schuster; and his in-laws, Jody, Joe Thomas and Jeanne Drew.
