Richard L. Willowby Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Willowby in Kingman, Arizona, who passed away on November 30, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John (Bessie Willowby) and Leonard (Doris Helvering); his brothers-in-law, Don Barnes and Danny Bryant; his nephew Aaron; and his cousins, Margretta and Don Owens.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Helvering; his children, Nathan (Jill), Laura Poole (Ryan), Daniel and Dennis Ju (Eileen); his grandchildren, Emmy, Jude, Genevieve, Elliana, Peyton and Taylor; his sister Naomi Bryant; his nephews, Gavin, Owen and Jonathan; his niece Rachel (Wes); his close friend Deanna Bitner (Roger); and his in-laws, Linda Barnes, John Helvering, Bob, Leah Helvering, Lisa and Jim Ragsdale.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the James Earl Massey Center for Compelling Preaching at Anderson University.
