He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe May and Bertha May; his children, Tony May and Teresa Cooley; his brothers, Robert May, Harold May and George May; Betty Penner.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. "B. J." May; and his siblings, Joan Spangler, Patricia Reed and Jim May. He is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
