She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Burning and Roxanna Burning. She is survived by: her children, Susie Kerr and Sean Kerr; her grandchildren, Brennan, Noah, Oliver and Grace; and her siblings, Neil Burning, Barbara Burning and David Burning.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Children of the Nations in Georgina's memory.
