She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry G. Hurst and Thelma Jackson-Hurst; her husband William A. Semper; her son Kelvin G. Semper; and her siblings, Pristell, Siebert, Larry Hurst, Beryl Schultz, Shirley Ricardo, Masel Hurst-Vincent, Thelma Dean Hurst-Bradford and Una Hurst-Morrison.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shea Semper-DoQui and Gayle Marie Tanner (Donnie); her daughter-in-law Vera Semper; her grandchildren, Ryan S. Stringer, Logan W. Semper (Karly), DeAdra Renée Davis, Tayler Marie Blake, Dion P. Tanner and Desiree N. Tanner; her great grandchildren, Tatum Stringer, Ryleigh Stringer, Karter Semper, Jagger Semper, Colter Semper, Malcolm Henderson and Aurea Johnny; and her sister Kerrel Hurst-Chrisentery. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Chapel (6830 W Thunderbird Rd, Peoria, AZ 85381). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the National Memorial Cemetery (23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024).
