He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Hammond and Amelia Hammond (Szurleys); his brother Thomas Hammond; his granddaughter Amber Hammond; and his brother-in-law Gary Suboter.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hammond (Motta); his children, David Hammond (Nicole), John Hammond, Jennifer Veilleux (Paul) and Stephen Hammond; his stepchildren, Elisa Igliozzi (Remington) and David Remington; his sister Ann Suboter (Hammond); and his sibling's children, Dawn and Jeff. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
