He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cox and Theresa Cox; and his sister Mary Matson. He is survived by: his children, Matthew Cox of Springfield and Jenna Younker (Chris); his grandchildren, JD and Calin; and his brothers, George "Mike" Cox (Janet) of Lincoln, IL and Greg Cox (Teri) of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers (20350 N John Wayne Pkwy Ste 160, Maricopa, AZ 85139).
