He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilkin Derrick Rummels and Carrie Luella Holland Rummels; and his brothers, Milton Rummels, Darrell Rummels, Tommy Rummels and Terry Rummels.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Rummels; and his sisters, Ethel, Cook, Delores Duke, Gloria Rummels, Dothea "Dot" Jones and Constance Riddle. He is also survived by grandchildren, a great grandchild, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
