He is survived by: his wife Rosanne (Swoboda); his children, Carrie Murphy (Dylan), Paul Neukirch (Megan), Kelly Neukirch, Mark Kersten, Anthony Kersten (Danie) and Stephanie Rivera (Roy); his grandchildren, Margaret Murphy, Shay Neukirch, Braden Staehr and Helen Mahlin; and his siblings, John Neukirch (Joan) of Lincoln, Steve Neukirch (Iris) of Lincoln and Lynette Murphy (Paul) of Tempe Arizona.
