He was predeceased by: his brother Manuel Chavez. He is survived by: his sons, Antony Chavez, Nicolas Chavez and Alfonso Chavez; and his siblings, Raul (Arsenia), Gustavo Chavez (Martha), Dora and David (Patsy). He is also survived by grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
