She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas L. Hess and Pauline Hess (Wenrick); her spouse Thomas W. Heffner; and her brothers, Fred, Earl, Dick and Jack.

She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Steinkirchner of Mesa, AZ; her grandsons, Steven Steinkirchner (Sonia) and Brian Steinkirchner (Sharon); and her great grandchildren, Steven Jr., Sadie and Thomas.
