He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel Freeman and Andrew Allen Freeman; his wife Anita; and his siblings, Wayne and Marlene.
He is survived by: his sister Dixie; and his children, Michelle Smith, Allen Freeman (Shelly), Lewis Freeman (Trecia), Gayle Lindsay, Kaye Hunsaker (Mark), Diane Horne (Deron) and Mark Freeman (Rachel). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
