It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin H. Poormon Sr. of Mesa, Arizona, who passed away on February 16, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Benjamin H. Poormon Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Poormon and Ida Poormon. He is survived by: his siblings, Leroy, Don, Ralph, Edwin, Carl, Eugene and Mary; his wife Kathryn Benton Poormon; his brother George Poormon (Nancy); his children, Terri Smith (Clint), Tim, Brenda, Benjamin (Teresa), Leisha Leach (Don), Vincent (Lisa) and Jason (Nicole); and his foster children, Natalie Majlaton (Sam), Dawn Zaffuto (Mike), Earleen Miller (Jeff), Debbie Pitcher (Rocky), Penny Ouimet and Tina Bower.

“We will remember Benny (with Kathy) as a vigilant & welcoming neighbor at Mesa East Park; his garden flourished every spring, they hosted us & neighbors at their home, checked up on our place when we were off to Amsterdam in 2018.
