He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Kallhoff. He is survived by: his daughter Deb; his grandchildren, Ben, Sarah and Dianne (Greg); his daughters, Amanda and Alyssa; his great grandchildren, Bill and Cole; his brother Dale; his granddaughter Dona; and his daughter Denise Cook (Bill).
He was named the Antelope County Outstanding Farmer of the Year and was recognized for his outstanding contribution to agriculture conservation and promoting pork in the area.
