He was predeceased by: his sister Gwenda; his wife Ella Jeanne Biggs Dorsett; and his parents, Cecil Perry Dorsett and Ruth Hawkins. He is survived by: his sister Carolyn Joan Dewees (Terry Dewees); and his daughters, Lynda Rae Dorsett, Kathlyn Joyce Shute (Wayne Shute), Anita Jo Adair (Tom Adair) and Nicole Michele Dorsett (Brook Stebbins). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
