He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Sandy; his brothers, Kelly and Larry Dean Burleson; his children, Lisa Kelly, Tina Dye, Sandy Walter, Robin Anastasiadis and Scott Burleson; and his parents, Charles Burleson and Grace Burleson. He was also cherished by his eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
