She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Brown and Lillie Fish Brown; her husband Dale Rene Welker; her daughter Angela; her close friend Dale; and her children, Jeffery Dale Welker (Cindy), Gregory Scott Welker, Wendi Sunderhaus (Herb) and Amy Williams (Kurt). She was also cherished by her husband, children, 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
