He was predeceased by: his parents, Kate Scanlon and Daniel J. Scanlon Sr.; and his wife Harriet Gloria. He is survived by: his family, Dorothy Scanlon, Danny "Little Dan" Scanlon III (Michiko) of Toyoko Japan and Shera Roames; his great grandchildren, Nash, Aaliyah, Sophie, Rayne and Eric; and his friend Georgia Spurgeon.
